[00:00] Hey, beautiful people.

[00:01] What’s up? Today I am about to give you the best advice that I have ever received as a wife, as a mother, as a woman, as a friend, as a sister, a daughter, an earthling, all of it. I’m gonna pass it along to you today, and it might be the most important thing for you to hear, especially right now in this moment. It’s season six tips and tricks that this psychotherapist wants you to know. So relax and settle in and listen up, because your stress therapy session is.

[00:30] About to begin right now.

[00:46] Hey, beautiful people. It’s time for some stress therapy, a podcast about how to meditate and get better at stress for people living in the real world. Finally, a place to park my 25 plus years of experience of working as a psychotherapist in the mental health field. And now, your host, me, the stress therapist, Sherry Flake. Okay, before we get into the thick of it, we’re going to take a teensy tiny break. Be right back.

[01:22] Hey, beautiful people. Okay, so here it is. Are you ready? Here’s the best advice ever. It really is the best advice ever.

[01:29] And I’m about to take it. Ready? Okay, listen. Here we go. Yeah. Did you hear that? I didn’t hear it either. Silence being quiet. Even though it doesn’t fit in with radio or podcasting or any of that, sometimes it’s just time to be quiet, to just listen.

[02:12] If this is your first time here.

[02:15] It might be good to know that I’m usually talking your ears off. And sometimes it’s time to drink a big cup of zippet. And so that’s what we’re going to do. We’re going to drink a big cup of zip it together and enjoy and understand and listen and be in silence. I’m not going to talk about nothing. I’m not going to talk about something. We’re just going to be quiet. And if you find that it’s really.

[03:01] Difficult for you to be silent, that it’s really difficult for you to just sit quietly, you’re in really good company. Feel free to use your breath as an anchor.

[03:18] Just be a witness to it. Watch it come. Watch it go. You don’t have to change anything. You don’t have to do anything. You don’t have to say anything.

[03:35] Let’s be quiet together.

[03:40] Nowhere.

[17:02] Feel free to take a really long, slow, deep breath in your nose. Let it all go out of your mouth. Feel what it feels like to have.

[17:19] Been quiet for a long time. Did you hang in there?

[17:28] Did you give yourself this gift? Take another long, slow, deep breath in your nose. Let it all go out of your mouth. Allow the silence to seep through your body.

[17:55] Taking the benefit from it, noticing.

[18:00] What you may have heard or learned, because if you’re talking, then you’re not learning. So says the Buddha. Take another long, slow, deep breath in your nose. Allow yourself to wake up taking this silence with you where you may need it. Now let it all go out of your mouth and go about your beautiful day with silence on your side. You don’t have to fill up the space. What would happen if you didn’t have a lovely, lovely day?

[18:44] Before I go, I want to tell you about another ethereal network of shows podcast that I think you’re going to love.
